Air vortex cannon
A rolling ring of air crosses the stage and knocks over a target; theatrical fog then makes the vortex visible in flight.
Van de Graaff generator
Static charge builds until a pre-screened volunteer's hair stands on end - attraction and repulsion the back row can see.
Dry ice chamber
Dense fog spills from a clear chamber and then fills a bubble: solid carbon dioxide turning straight into gas.
Giant pressure chamber
An oversized object swells inside a clear vacuum chamber as the air is pumped out, then settles back as pressure returns.
Color-reaction chemistry
Vivid liquids in large clear vessels change color when they meet; a volunteer predicts the result first.
Elephant Toothpaste finale
A secured reaction chamber sends up a towering column of foam while the whole room counts down and calls the height.
A science show fills a program room and pairs with every science shelf you have. Two scientists run 45 minutes of big, visual experiments, pull volunteers from the audience, and get the whole room predicting what happens next. It works for summer reading kickoffs, family nights and after-school programs, and all you provide is power and room to set up.
